At the BacinTyme Café you’ll find nicely decorated rooms to unwind, meeting rooms to socialize or conference, local artists work displayed and sold thought the café, live entertainment events inside and outside the cafe, and of course great coffee and food.  With many things to do and see at BacinTyme, their website needed a way to communicate the café’s mutli-faceted offerings.

A WordPress based website seemed the logical choice to convert their current website into a living, easily updated website.  There aren’t many days at BacinTyme without a meeting or entertainment event, so the most significant feature of the new site is promoting daily events as posts in the WordPress based software platform. Best of all, anyone of the BacinTyme’s staff can easily update and add events as often as needed.

Website Vantage is proud to have been selected to redesign and covert BacinTyme’s website and web marketing program.  Their new website went live the middle of March 2010.  All reports from Georgia have been positive since the changeover.

Website Vantage designed a website for the lacrosse tournament. The tournament is called the Catawba Classic.  The site is built on WordPress and primarily a static site except for the news page.

Update May 2010 – The tournament campaign has been rewarding so far. Over 49 teams have registered for the Catawba Classic almost doubling their registration exception for the first year of the tournament.

Website Vantage has recently finished creating Photoartsshop.com. The site is simple and easy to navigate.  The site uses Next Gen Gallery to feature Steve’s photos. In addition,  WP estore has been set up inconjunction with Next Gen Gallery to sell the photos via an online shopping cart.

With the direction of Heather, the website has been designed to be simple as not to distract or take away featuring her work.  Next Gen Gallery is used to feature Heather’s art work and photographs via slide shows and image thumbs.

The first website I built for Michelle was a traditional what I call a “flat file” multiple page static website. Then Michelle wanted a reservation form so her clients could fill out an online form and she could get instant notification about the reservation request. At that point I felt a CMS (content management system) type design would be best to store her client information in a database for future reference . We then made the switch to WordPress.

Now most of  Michelle’s website pages are part of the WordPress CMS system while the front page is still a single static flat file.

Internet marketing and top ranking search engine placement of a local businesses is easy if you focus on the local service area. Michelle’s website ranking has been and continues to dominate the front page of most pet sitting or pet care searches in her local area of service.

No, not Carmen. Carmen’s real estate website www.carmensmiller.com has a new look.

It’s a new year and Carmen and I thought it was time to freshen up her first real estate website.

The new website features a clean crisp design with a built in slide show at the top of the page to feature pictures of our beautiful area Tega Cay, Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, and other local  scenes in northern South Carolina.

In addition, Carmen thinks the website is easier to navigate to assist home buyers and sellers in their quest for local information, featured homes for sale, and homes sales research. There is a link to her real estate blog homesfortmill.com

Another benefit of the new design is the RSS feed for Carmen’s listings featured on the carmensmiller.com website.  Ok, in English it means when Carmen posts her seller’s homes for sale on her website, a really simple syndication (RSS) data feed is broadcasted to the internet.  This website (homesfortmill.com) has the same feature but having another RSS feed for her sellers home listings is truly an added benefit to her sellers.

Carmen plans to use the WordPress blog portion of the website only for her home for sale listings and leave her other blog homesfortmill.com to feature fort mill mortage upadtes, buyer seller tips, community information, and news.
